Illustration - Love with no reservation

Just finished an illustration fro our church's Home New cover. We have this publication since 1969.. it's been there for long time :)

Members will write various articles about bible, life and health related issues and we publish on quarterly basis. This issue's theme is "Love with no reservation"
So I was thinking to find some simple clip art then put it there... but I couldn't find anything fits my thought, so I drew a picture.

Not sure if anyone will notice these details but.. it's my intention to tell people;
The white lily symbolized purity of God's love, and under the lily there is a hen/bird.. whatever it looks like.. xD and chicks hiding under her wings.

There are seven chicks, again, symbolize perfect. Also if you look the white lily from far, you'll see a cross shap...it's God :)

Well, I hope they will like it. I'm kind of nervous that they will say something like "childish" or "Too cartoonish.. not serious enoug..."... Oh boy, I hope not. >_<

I really liked this... this is my favorite! Hope you like it too!

Recently DeviantArt luanched a new online program called Muro. It's like online drawing application but you can set different layers and use diferrent brushes to draw picture, then you can publish it into your art gallery.

I was trying out and having fun with it...I found it's very interesting and fun to use, despite that the program isn't responding to my pen tablet very well...they might have to improve that over time.
Other than that, it's a fun program to use and I really enjoy it.

Vector design

Hello guys!
How was your Monday treating you? Mine was pretty busy even today!
Well, today I'll be sharing one of my first ever vector creation; Panda head!

I was following up with a very useful tutorial on internet and I thought it's very cute to try it out. I must tell you, it's kinda hard to figure where and what to use, but after my first creation I must say that I've learned A LOT and now I'm more comfortable to get familiar with illustrator.

It is very useful and powerful program, and I recommend all of you vector lovers LEARN it!!! :)
Hopefully one day I'll be able to create many cute arts with illustrator ^___^

Pink Sweetie Commission OPEN!

Recently I wanted to learn new style of drawing. Well, NOT that new...it's be IN for a while but I never had a chance to learn it. It's Anime style of CG. Have been searching everywhere and didn't find anything really helpful to my problems/questions.

This is my character Pink Sweetie :) She's SO pink and SO sweet, you almost can smell her from miles away! I'm planning to draw whole series of Loli Chibi collection to sell. Hopefully I'll make my first sale soon!

Digital drawings - WIP

Hello everyone!
How is your weekend? I'm very excited because tomorrow we're going to attend a baby shower! My very dear friend is going to have baby soon so we thought to arrange a baby shower :)

I feel lazy recently, not sure if the weather playing a big part or what... I don't feel like doing anything at all. Maybe because of my exercise...my whole lower legs hurts like... -_- I gotta stop this laziness and have to get back to whatever I'm doing...its important! :) Ok, enough  of my rant, I'd like to share some sketches that I did while a go...oh well, maybe 3 months ago? Not so bad. wish to color it soon.

This suppose to be one of my "Alice in Wonderland" concept drawings but decided to draw simpler version of Alice. Well, after I saw the winner, I thought I should do this one instead of the other version. Hmm, maybe take more time next time?

Another one is like speed paint. Believe me, I didn't know what I was drawing and didn't like a bit BUT I did learn something from the class. At least now I know how to use markers ;]

I've been searching information on Anime Conventions and found out that Anime Expo is the largest Anime convention in the U.S.! Also this Comic-Con...and Boston Anime Expo. I've learned a lot from watching Youtube, pictures and these sites...Now I know more or less what shall I prepare for the show and it's NOT easy.

I need at least several dozen good drawings to make posters, cards...I was thinking to make some ACEO cards so I can sell it. Also some sketch books, color books...dojinshi might be a good idea but I need to learn the tool first.. ^___^
Well, I'm starting little by little, hopefully by the time I have enough to attend the show.
